Joshua Tree for National Geographic
Joshua Tree National Park is one of my favorite places to escape to. I spend a lot of time there in the spring and fall exploring the landscape in the name of adventure and climbing. But getting to know a place, you also begin to understand what threats there are to its existence. I always say to photograph what you know best, shooting a short story for National Geographic about the threatened landscape of Joshua Tree felt like giving something back to a place that has given me so much.
